[History Major Announcement] Congratulations to David Cooney!

Good Evening Everyone,

In these crazy times, it is always worth making that special effort to
recognize some good news when we get it.

Today, soon-to-be-graduating History Major, Dave Cooney was awarded the
Utica College Dean Robert Woods Student Life Award.  This award recognizes
a student for outstanding contribution to Utica College and the local
community. Dave has worn many hats during his time as a History Major at UC
including being a major leader at WPNR for the college.

Dave has also been very active with developing and sharing his History
Project research with many speaking engagements to share his work on what
was once the local German POW camp in the region.

It has been a privilege to have Dave in the Major and I hope that you all
get the opportunity to congratulate him as he finishes his time with us!
