Hi All,

Just a reminder the March (tomorrow) is Women's History Month. In
celebration, the CHR is hosting a talk by Professor Leigh Fought from
LeMoyne College. She has worked extensively with the Frederick Douglass
collection and written on women's issues in the 19th century. Her talk,
which is on March 7 (Tuesday) at 6:30 in Macfarlane is titled: "Helen Pitts'
Civil War: Frederick Douglass' Second Wife During the War to Emancipate the
Slaves."

As with all our history month talks, there is a dinner before and a
reception afterward. If you'd like to join us for dinner and have the chance
to meet and speak with Dr. Fought in a relaxed atmosphere, please let me
know asap.

Thanks and look forward to seeing all of you there.

DGW
