[History Major Announcement] Women's History Talk

Hi all,

 

In honor of Women's History Month, the History Department and Center for
Historical Research will host the talk

"No Votes for Women: The New York State Anti-Suffrage Movement"

Tomorrow, Thursday, March 27, from 7-8pm in MacFarlane Auditorium.

 

Our speaker is Susan Goodier, Ph.D., of SUNY Institute of Technology. It is
based on her book of the same title, which explores the complicated history
of the suffrage movement in New York by delving into the stories of women
who opposed the expansion of voting rights to women. The event is free and
open to the public.
